The Social Network of games?... or just an APP?

As many people these days, I am a proud owner of an iPhone and am addicted to Words With Friends. This phone is AWESOME I loooove it.... the apps keep me interested and so do the games. Well last year in December I started playing words with friends with Kyle and at the time I did not know how BIG this game is. Now I really believe it could be the social networking of games. It's a REVOLUTION, well at least I think it is. The reason why I say this is because EVERYONE is playing it, if you post that you have it like 10 people respond saying: add me my name is ______. So you begin to build a network of the people you know or the people you meet while playing the game. Even Celebrities think it's the new Social Network as quoted by John Mayer "The 'Words with Friends' app is the new Twitter" on his Twitter post... there you go that is all I need to think this could really be a place where people go to network :)... hehehe Well at least in my opinion....

Hmmm.... Interesting Weekend Topic :)

I started watching Prison Break this past weekend. AWESOME show if you are looking for a show to cuddle up next to the couch with! :) As Kyle and I were watching the show there was a scene where Lincoln (the guy on death row) had to choose what he was going to have for his last meal. While watching this scene, we were like what would we have.... So after much deliberation we decided to choose 20 things that we would love to eat for our last meal if we were in that situation.

1) Steak from the Double Eagle
2) Enchiladas from my mom's best friend Romy
3) Buffalo wings (from Applebee's)
4) Breakfast burrito smothered in green chili from Cha chis
5) Pecan Pancakes from Mesilla Valley Kitchen
6) a good ol' slice of peperoni pizza from Joe's NY style Pizzeria
7) a burrito from La Posta
8) My mom's yummy asado
9) Chocolate
10) Custard from Freddy's
11) Rice crispy bar from Rudy's BBQ
 ....This is a hard list to come up with.... there is soo much yummy food in this world....
12) Sushi
13) Tuna Sandwich from South Padre Island
14) Chicken Strip BBQ sandwich from Whataburger
15) Lo mein from 5 brothers chinese food
16) Sesame Chicken

..........Okay I'm getting hungry just thinking of all this YUMMY food.
17) Pumpkin pie
18) Chips and Queso from Cheddar's
19) Chicken strips from AJ's Diner
20) Potato Salad from a BBQ place in Scottsdale Arizona

This of course was not a very realistic list, because I would think that if I was in death row I would not get to eat any of this. :( Okay maybe one thing or two from the list. But those people would have to be busting their butts trying to find exactly what I want.


Also after reading this list I have come the conclusion that I love food from Las Cruces!

 I'm sitting here typing my blog out on my laptop. Kind of makes me feel like Carrie Bradshaw! :) Although she had New York reading her article, and I have like 1 maybe 2 readers...Okay my last post was about my summer list and that was quite a while ago. Since then I have started my scrapbook, found a place that I will be moving to July 23, and got accepted to Texas A&M! I'm super excited I cannot wait to start(I cannot believe that I am actually saying that) so I can feel useful again! Finding a job seems quite impossible! So my blog background is under construction O.o. HTML is HARD to figure out, so hopefully with the help of Fallon I can get it to look better. I have been reading blogs and hopefully finding some inspiration on what to do with my blog, I am super new at blogging and I don't know how interesting I really am(which is probably not very) I have read some pretty interesting blogs, and none that are like mine. After all I am just an average girl trying to make it in a big city... *sigh*  So let me ask you this... What would Carrie Bradshaw do?

Summer Fun!

It's almost been a week since I wrote in my blog... at least I am getting better! So its been 3 years since I have taken a summer break from school, and this year I have decided to do so! :) I am super excited! Also I have started a list of things that I've been wanting to do for years but have never done and I am putting my foot down and doing them and also some stuff that I just want to do! haha... The list isn't too long but it is growing everyday! So I will share with you what I have so far....

Summer 2010~

1) Start a scrapbook! I love making each page different and with its own characteristic! I LOOOOVE scrapbooking!!!!(didn't make the pic just found it online hehe)













2) although snail mail is pretty much obsolete (for most people)  I have always wanted a pen pal! So hopefully I can find one! =) 

3) Move into a bigger house/townhouse/apartment than the one I am living in now!!!!

 

  4) Finish reading L.A. Candy and its sequel 

5) Watch all of Sex and the City AGAIN!!!

6) Go on vacation with Kyle! <3... we did it last year but it should happen again hehe

7) Buy a cookbook and cook with Fallon!!!! <3

8) Find a Job! Although I've been looking forever! hehe

I also found this one which was cute!!! 

9) Take lots of good pictures all year and share them with y'all!!!!(although I don't have many blog friends.. YET! :)

10) Go watch 1 or more concerts!!!!

OKAY OKAY... sorry it took so long

So I started working at this daycare which I totally didn't like! :( It kept me super busy I would go to work then come home and be super exhausted and well that didn't inspire me to write, when I was cranky and not able to think of anything.

Enough about the icky stuff!

Yesterday May 25th would have been my dad's birthday!!! Although he is no longer with us, he is still in our thoughts! I miss him so much and wish every day that he hadn't left us!

Okay so I bought this uber cute notebook and lady bug pen to write my thoughts throughout the day so that I can have something to write in my blog. So... not doing so good at that, but I am going to work on it!!! I feel a project coming on for the summer! haha

Fallon (my bff) and I decided to buy a cookbook and make tasty recipes from it! Kind of like Julie and Julia(great movie), although we are not trying to copy them, nor do I want to learn the art french cooking.....YET haha :) So I believe we must go cook book shopping soon!!! =D


Sex and the City is my favorite T.V. show of all time and I am jumping out of my seat in excitement to watch the new movie! *literally* Contrary to what people believe sex and the city is not just about sex (only because sex is in the title)! It makes so mad when people look at me like OMG you watch sex and the city! *grrrr*

As you can see I have all these random thoughts that do no correlate with each other! :) oi!

Alright well until the next blog! I promise that I will try my best to write in my blog more often!!!
